Static Capacity Curves of Reinforced Concrete Structures Exposed to High Temperature Effects

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the seismic performance of a reinforced concrete (RC) structural system exposed high temperatures. For purpose, RC structure with 4 floors and spacings was designed. First all, column beam elements were modeled by using ANSYS software then, thermal analysis performed assuming that they standard fire curve obtain temperature distributions in cross-sections elements. Secondly, sectional analyses for element sections moment-curvature relations obtained. Finally, three dimensional (3D) static pushover carried out accordance Turkish Building Earthquake Code (TBEC 2018). The results showed as exposure time increase inelastic displacement capacity base shear force values decrease. also affected location event. Besides, plastic hinges occurred more quickly than situation before event, resulting decrease load carrying stiffness system.
